About us

Who you get when you call us.

We look after the computers, the email, the files and the backups that a Canadian business runs on. One team, one monthly price, one person who knows your name. This page says plainly how big we are, what we cover and what we do not claim, so you can decide before you spend a minute on a call.

A plain, tidy Canadian office in natural daylight

The people who answer your callback work in Toronto, and it is the same one every time you call.

One person owns your account and answers when you call. You will not explain your business twice.

What we actually do all day

Most of our work is quiet. We watch the systems your staff use every day, we fix what breaks, we keep a second copy of your files somewhere safe, and we replace the old machines before they fail on a Monday morning. When something goes wrong, you tell one person and it gets handled.

The parts that make the news — the ransomware, the flood in the server cupboard, the employee who left with a laptop — are the parts we plan for while nothing is happening. That planning is the product.

Why owners call us in the first place

These are the sentences we hear on the first call, almost word for word.

The last IT guy stopped answering the phone.

Nobody knows where our files are, or who has the passwords.

Every month there is another bill from a company I have never spoken to.

Something is wrong with the computers and my staff are sitting there.

What we commit to

Same dayYou leave your name and number, a person calls you back the same business day, usually within an hour.
Month to monthNo long lock-in. Thirty days' notice ends it, and your data, accounts and passwords go with you.
One leadThe same named person owns your account, knows your setup and picks up the callback.

Our size and our coverage, without the padding

Everything below is a plain fact about the company. Where we cannot show you a number, we say so rather than print one.

Where we are
Toronto, Ontario. We work with businesses across Canada.
How big we are
Small, and built that way on purpose. The person who answers your call is the person who does the work, so nothing is repeated to a second desk and nothing waits in a queue behind two hundred other accounts.
How the work gets done
Most of it remotely, from Toronto. We come to your office when the job needs hands on the equipment, and we agree the visit with you first.
Who works on your account
One account lead who you speak to every time, with specialists behind them for networks, email, backups and security.
Languages
English and French.
Legal name
IT-TEAM Operations Inc., federally incorporated in Canada.
What we do not claim
We hold no security certifications. We publish no client count and no savings figure. If a number matters to your decision, ask on the call and we will show you where it comes from.
How we handle your information

How we handle your information

Your records stay yours. We handle them under Canada’s privacy law (PIPEDA), and for clinics under Ontario’s health-records law (PHIPA). Your files are kept separate from every other client, and we never use them for marketing. On the day you leave, we hand back the documentation, the accounts and the passwords.

Ask us to call you back.

Two fields, name and number. A person calls you back the same business day, usually within an hour. If you would rather start with a written read on your setup, the infrastructure audit is free.

Ask us to call you back

Leave your name and number. A real person calls you back the same business day, usually within an hour.

We use your number to call you back about your request. Nothing else.
