Schools, colleges and training companies

Every class should start on time, log-ins and all.

We look after the classroom computers, the learner portal and the student records behind them, for private colleges, training companies and independent schools across Canada.

A person calls you back the same business day, usually within an hour.

The class starts in ten minutes and none of the log-ins work.

Twenty learners watching an instructor restart a machine is the part they remember.

Three things that break in a school.

These are the calls we get from principals and owners, in the words they use. Under each one is what we actually do about it.

The class starts and the log-ins fail.

A room of learners, an instructor at the front, and a sign-in screen that refuses everybody. The lesson turns into twenty minutes of troubleshooting in front of paying students.

What we do

We keep classroom machines on one standard setup and test the sign-in the week before term rather than on the first morning. When something does fail during a class, a person answers and works it while the instructor carries on with the room.

Student records live in five different places.

Enrolment in one system, marks in a spreadsheet, the learner portal in a third, and a copy of everything in somebody’s inbox. When an accreditor asks who has seen a record, nobody can answer.

What we do

We bring learner records into one place the school controls, limit who can open them, and keep a copy we restore in front of you rather than assume. Data is handled in line with PIPEDA and the privacy rules of your province.

September brings two hundred new accounts and one office manager.

Every intake means accounts, email, portal access and devices, done by hand in a week. Every graduation means the same work in reverse, and that work is usually skipped.

What we do

We set up joining and leaving as one routine we run for you. New learners and staff have their access on day one, and when they finish it closes the same week. You approve the list, we do the work.

One standard setup in every classroom.

Tested the week before term, rather than on the first morning.

An instructor calls once, and keeps teaching while we sort it out.

What we look after in a school.

Tell us which learning platform you run and we start there. Moodle, Brightspace, Google Workspace for Education — the platform your instructors teach on keeps running because the machines, the Wi-Fi and the log-ins underneath it are looked after.

  • Classroom and lab computersOne standard setup, kept the same in every room, updated in a window you approve.
  • The learner portal and the course platformWhichever system you already run. Tell us the name on the callback.
  • Student recordsOne place, access limited to named staff, and a restore we test rather than assume. Handled in line with PIPEDA.
  • Intake and graduationAccounts opened and closed as a routine, so nobody keeps access to the portal after they leave.
  • The internet line the campus runs onEnough capacity for a full building of learners, plus a second way out when the main line is cut.
  • Staff laptops and the screens they plug intoThe dull equipment in the corner of the room that stops a class dead when it fails.

What it costs a school.

The price list is published. You see the number before you sign, and it does not move because a term was busy.

$3,400CAD a month — where the published list starts, for one campus
$8,900CAD a month — the middle plan, for a larger school
30 daysnotice to leave, after the first six months

The price list adjusts for how many people you have and how many campuses, and we confirm the final number in a call before anything is signed. Data is handled in line with PIPEDA and the privacy rules of your province.

Anything we have missed here, ask it on the callback.

Ask us to call you back
Can you work with the learning platform we already have?

We start with the platform you already run. Tell us the name when we call you back. If it is one we have never worked with, we say so plainly before you sign anything.

Who is responsible for student privacy?

The school remains responsible. We handle records in line with PIPEDA and the privacy rules of your province, keep access limited to named staff, and sign a written agreement before we get access to anything.

Will your work interrupt classes?

Work that would interrupt a class is scheduled outside teaching hours, and we agree the window with you in advance. Tell us your timetable on the callback and we plan around it.

Tell us what is going wrong at the school.

Leave your name and number. A person calls you back the same business day, usually within an hour, and asks plain questions about what stopped working.

Or start with the free infrastructure audit

We look at the classroom machines, the portal and the student records you have now, write down what is at risk, and hand you the list. No charge, and no obligation to hire us.
